In my opinion AXPW looks better than ACPW.
    Have a good day.

Today was NS and tomorrow could be: BMW, GM, EXIDE, East Penn, Rosewater, Varidity or PJM.
    Nice list, right?

    Good Morning AXIONISTAS:
Very good news, good news. There is another that I also like:

...We have been moving on a parallel development path with respect to supplying batteries for the first NS 'over the road' locomotive. This larger, more powerful, unit will require approximately twice the number of batteries as those to be shipped for the yard 'switcher' locomotive. High-performance PbC batteries are ideally suited for hybrid locomotive applications due to their high charge acceptance, fast charge and discharge capabilities (important in regenerative braking), and their inherent ability to equalize voltage when utilized in large string configurations."

    Have a good day!!!!

..."My personal expectations respecting the value of my Axion position are pretty aggressive and after eight years I'm not the least bit interested in settling for less".
I share your opinion. Something so good and with so much potential, can not sell for a few dollares.

    INDelco:
Thanks for the link. For those who have read the articles of JP, all this and more is written in their articles.
It seems important to recognize that the next generation will be Lead-Carbon and gradually will realize that AXION PbC is the better.

    Futurist:
I believe that PbC meets the requirements.
    Do not forget: PbC have:
-.Higher dynamic charge acceptance. (10-20X Lead-Acid)
-.Increase (4X) in cycle life in 100% depth-of-discharge vs. Lead Acid.
-.90-95% in deep cycle applications (Improvement over lead -acid).
-.More Power than similar lead acid.
    Have a good night.

Sometimes the battery will not start the equipment in the morning and not having a replacement battery, give start with a auxiliary-battery and the equipment must remain so all day.
    Again: "DEAD BATTERY PARANOIA"
The solution is to equip the heavy-machinery with batteries much more reliable, stronger and durable (more cycles).

    Sili:
You express exactly what I meant:
...about wasted fuel for idling caused by "dead battery paranoia" on the part of equipment operators and supervisors.
Many times the equipment can remain in idle position for more than half of the day. "DEAD BATTERY PARANOIA"

Generally, after a short time (few months), heavy machinery remains on all the time, this working or is not working, for fear that it will not start because of problems with the battery.

I also think that in the mining sector there is much to save on fuel: extraction machinery and transport equipment.
    Thanks again, good article.

    I have a question:
In case of reducing the price of oil, fall LUX predictions ($113,5B)?
    Thanks.

I was mechanical engineer, now I'm a happy retired. It is tremendous the amount of fuel lost in construction equipment. They do not go out (Stop) when they stop work pending proceeding. They also need SS.
