Active Spot Uranium Demand Dropped by 65 Percent in April [View article]
With respect to ASX listed Compass Resources' 14.5 million lbs of uranium currently JORCed up - drill results from the 2006 dry season drilling campaign have not been included in that jorc estimate - was a pretty heavy duty drilling campaign and it has been suggested by Australian analyst house Huntleys that once included in jorc estimate should give them around 25million lbs I think - they are planning an even bigger drilling campaign for 2007 dry season which should be underway any day now - from what I understand this years drilling is expected to be a pretty massive campaign in one of the most prospective areas for uranium in Australia which includes the original Rum Jungle Uranium field/mine which only ceased production when U308 prices fell in the 1970's or so. Very worth a look at and in my mine James is correct saying CMR will likely be the next uranium miner in Oz. But as usual, do your own research. A good site with lots of info is hotcopper.com.au and look for the CMR thread
