  • The Market Is Selling Celgene; I'm A Buyer [View article]
Always dangerous to buy a stock that is under obvious distribution for "fundamental reasons". Perhaps the fundamentals are changing. It would be nice to have some forward looking analysis, for instance, the recent news of Waxman questioning the prices Biotech companies charge for their product. There are some obvious absurd examples from Alexion and Gilead. I'm not saying that anything will come of it, however there is plenty of ripe fodder from which to make a LOT OF NOISE about it. This would not be well received by the biotech companies, in fact, they are particularly and uniquely vulnerable in this respect.

I really see no reason to follow the lead of this author and rush headlong into stocks that the market is in the midst of re-pricing, after a historic multi-year run. I found the "bounce" today from big cap biotech to be particularly uninspired.

  • Bloomberg Counters Gold’s Run With Absurd 'Hit-Piece' [View article]
Then why do ALL central banks own it? The central banks of the Western World, according to you, and "speculating" and have zero reason to own it. That's ridiculous. In every list of assets, GOLD is the first one listed, always.

I've been a seller of puts on GLD for the past several years. It has been a great income producer, to supplement my bullion holdings. If I actually get shares put to me, that's great I own it lower.

What strikes are you selling puts? I have a hard time believing "very little capital at risk". Easy to say, please spell it out. There really is no such thing. If you are WAY out of the money, you'd need a virtual crash in the metal to make money. Be interested though to see what you have to pay per year to keep this up...

  • COT, Bart Chilton: Bullish on Silver [View article]
Is it possible JPM is long physical metal on the LME (where they are a market maker) and selling paper on the COMEX?

From what I understand, JPM has not disclosed how much Silver it may be long on the LME? However, I could be wrong in this regard. Just wondering if we have the full picture here.

Great article keep up the good work!

  • Silver: Invest in the Metal of the Future [View article]
"Palladium is the metal of the future."

Palladium certainly has been outperforming Platinum, whose chart is quite unappealing. what are the reasons to consider Palladium at this time? I've traded it but don't own any physical metal.

what do you think about Sandstorms shares outstanding? it looks like a lot of outstanding stock+warrants.

    Total Issued & Outstanding 318,063,147

    www.sandstormresources...

It would be nice to see some analysis that considers the amount of outstanding issued stock+warrants, which is lacking. good review of the projects Sandstorm has going on, but without consideration of the share structure, hard to make a decision as to whether this stock represents bottom line value.
