  • Bank of America Punishes Customers Who Dare to Have a Balance [View article]
I too will close my BofA accounts as soon as I can and never do business with them ever again in any form. These stupid execs just dont get it that we have long memories and resent them kicking us when we are down...rather than helping us through these tough times. Nothing like the scum in financials.
I stayed with them through the increased fees debacle in the late 90's.....I stayed with them when they stupidly put talking voices in their ATMs. They must be a bunch of kids in a conference room amening the execs numb brained ideas with no challenge from anyone with common sense.

  • Are the Big Banks Gaming the Taxpayer? [View article]
I recall Hugh McColl of BofA buying up every bank in sight back in the 90's...and thought to be a god by those in Charlotte, NC...as he funnelled money into 'the arts community'. He retired with a $20,000,000 slush fund afterwards, then I think Lewis took over.

We need regional, local banks, no behemoths.

Let Citi and BofA burn. People can move their money to smaller banks and we'll all be safer.

  • The Escalator of Life Is Going Down (Part 2)  [View article]
Quinn-I am not your buddy, yet. As one sensible poster said, there is plenty blame to go round. Again, you like to label "dependent people like yourself'. I will not stoop to your child-like responses. You just shot yourself in the foot 'it was a govt agency that failed to enforce laws'...Gee, who broke the laws? The free-market power brokers???

Lets put everything into free markets......like drinking water, police protection, fire, sewage......that should solve everything.

Some of us responsible people want balance betwn free market and govt.

Quinn-You sound like a typical repub. We need middle of the road genious to get out of this situation. No repub, no demo. American people are tired of you labeler-extremists who just want one party to rule. Who cares? We want an economy not choked or controlled by greedy and powerful.
Try using your 'market freedom' and 'individuals solving their own problems' to go find insurance against healthcare costs that will bankrupt you. See if an insurer will be impressed by your self-help approach.
We need govt to step up and help us with financial greed and with healthcare.

  • Eight Reasons Bank of America Is Going to $20 [View article]
Why don't you folks just call it what it is instead of investing.......its gambling today, its Vegas disguised as a financial market.

All your info can be read in either direction. Its nothing more than gambling with your money trying to make a buck. There is no more investing.
