Now you defend yourself not against the reasoned criticism which has been presented, but instead by painting all your critics as emotional name-callers. You are not an idiot. You did write a lazy opinion piece over a cup of coffee. And now you rail against those who point it out. Instead you should look inward at how you might have written a better prepared, better reasoned article to start with.
