  • John Chen's First Mistake [View article]
I agree. Since the early days of windows, I can't remember anybody actually liking the user interface. Everybody just used it because it came preloaded on your pc, and apple was more expensive. Folks have been looking to move on to a different os, but there were no other options. Since getting my z10 I no longer use my laptop. Bb10 fills all my needs as far as computing and communication goes. Some may disagree, but it accomplishes everything I need to do. I don't need windows anymore, especially win7-8. The decline in pc sales is representative of this as well as the large number of xp users still out there. Bye bye windows.

  • All The Wrong Reasons: Twitter, BlackBerry [View article]
I've been following BlackBerry for the past year and shaking my head. I agree with the author 100%. How can the market attribute such high valuations for companies that don't even make money. BlackBerry loses, but still has an income. all things considered, they do need the restructuring, but as long as there is income coming in, there is hope. I plan on going long this month, as I have a few times during the past year.

I live in Canada, there are still a lot of bbs around. in fact, I do see quite a few of the bb10 phones out there as well. A canuck with a bb10 device is simply a more productive American.

as an employer, when I see an employee with an iPhone, I think of that person as a time waster. when I see android, I think this person is frugal. when I see bb, I think the individual is productive, or at least trying to be. this is just my opinion, but I'm sure employers would agree, and employees would call me prejudiced. Our choices in phones speak volumes these days about our personality and work ethics, without saying anything at all. I see BYOD dying a quick death for those reasons.

  • BlackBerry: It's All About The Valuation [View article]
That's the story that skeptics have stuck to for the past 18 months. Don't you remember that BlackBerry was supposed to burn through all their money by last Christmas? They actually increased their cash position qoq throughout this period.

I have two stock apps on my z10. If you couldn't figure that one out, I am going to question your ability to accomplish the other tasks. Sorry you feel that way.

Thanks for being so thorough in your breakdown. I suspected this of some other analysts as well, but never took the time to investigate. Thanks for doing the work, and so well. If you stumble across other contradicting BS like Faucette's, please write another article.

  • BlackBerry Vs. Nokia Is Like Audi Vs. Kia [View article]
How many Nokia drop tests have been done on pavement from six feet? What a dumb test. The individual dropping it is at fault, not the device for jumping out of hand.

I don't know anybody that is loyal to Nokia anymore. Ten years ago, maybe. Today, just another brand.

Look at all of his posts, then at the time posted, then at news articles posted on that day. I've already done all this, and made my decision. Same with the other reasonable folks on here. He doesn't produce facts, just comment fodder. Don't judge the masses, just this fella
