  • Google: Optimism Is Built Into The Current Price [View article]
The new split can change the dynamics for a while.
Depending on who speaks the split will cause Google to take a charge from earnings to compensate for the loss of class c stockor nothing will happen at all.
Its anybody's guess as to what will happen but I want to point out one thing.
MasterCard topped out at 847.50 before splitting 10 for 1 with the same equalized voting rights. The stock has been dead this whole quarter trading down to 72 yesterday or 720 before the split.

Google goes into dives from time to time and it just recently dropped well below its 50 day moving average.
Technically todays 20 point spurt is just a pop.
As to whether GOOG is overvalued or not right here is not the issue tht concerns Wall Street. The issue is which way its going to move right now on a technical basis. The longer term investment ideas should have no effect.
I could be off but I'm looking for GOOG to test the 200 day moving average.
The sooner it does the bigger the drop. Then another look

The market is taking notice to CPST. Now its capitalization is expanding and its becoming a viable company. Just a small price increase for its highly reliable products and profits will soar.

  • Green Mountain: Now We Can Be Realistic [View article]
The news of the inclusion to the S&P 500 came after the close of trading. In after hours trading it closed at 116 barely toping the intraday high.
It should open sharply higher on Monday and there's a good possibility that it could make a new high by Friday.
After the funds have bought enough stock as you will see the heavy volume next Friday at the close it will probably settle back down and trade in a range between 110 to 125 for a while.

    Benitus, sorry for the delay.
What I meant was if a stock is so overvalued as some think GMCR is ,an ultimate short squeeze on that basis is that the stock skyrockets intraday to an unsustainable level then it reverses course as real buyers step aside and only short covering the source of buyers comes to a climax.
Depending on the size of the reverse it determines the near to midterm trend of the stock. Many times the stock goes into a downtrend.
I don't see this happening anytime soon.
BTW As I have been predicting for some time GMCR will be added to the S&P 500 which means all funds tracking and holding the stocks in the S&P 500 must own GMCR by the close on Friday March 21. This always generates heavy upside buying.

  • Ukraine: How Bad For Capstone Turbine? [View article]
As the other highflying fuel cell stocks did a reversal Capstone which didn't follow them up fast didn't follow them down either. It moved up slowly to new highs three days in a row. THE BIG PAYOFF.
The market is starting to take notice to CPST as a more potentially profitable play.
Nobody has to ask what they do. They just have to ask, How far and fast will their established sales grow.
If markets forecast six months ahead the recent gains of Capstone is forecasting in the past tense.

With all the air let out of the balloons yesterday on fuel cell stocks Capstone chugged ahead nice and easy. The market is just beginning to take notice.

Yesterdays action gave traders and investors a glimpse of a real undervalued stock compared to the heavily traded and selling off of PLUG and FCEL.
CPST held yesterday and is back up today. it also received follow up reorders of 50 c65,s.
Capstone has business. It's profitability is around the corner.

Bears dismiss these moves and continue to ad to their shorts. They won't cover until they are losing serious money. Were not there yet but the feeling is getting better every day.
Think of this as a $10.00 stock.

Another realistic observation to your article.
    Just call GMCR xyz company
Also call any other stock xyz that spurts so heavily on earnings news.
    Short Squeeze?
An ultimate short squeeze ends badly and fast. This didn't happen.
    Ask yourself.
Where did the stock go from the earnings and other news spurt.
Remember the ultimate Starbucks deal in 2011.
If you're looking for a severe drop in GMCR perhaps a market tanking will take GMCR for the ride.
Not so fast. There are so many stocks more overpriced than GMCR.

GMCR has not tapped into markets outside the U.S. and Canada. Lavazza can help in Europe.
The stock is now ripe to be added to the S&P 500.
There are probably a lot more shorts that sold since the 124 level.

Look how fast PlUG moved from 47 cents to 11bucks today.
They still lose money. Ditto for FCEL. CPST is a screaming buy now at $2.00.
Conditions are better than ever. As a bull market ages theres very few bargains around.
Of course funds don't chase $2.00 stocks but when they rise to 5 then you have some serious activity. take a que from FCEL and PLUG.
If you own CPST already its time to add to your position.

Today Capstone is running with the other fuel cell stocks.
This is where traders, investors and funds begin to take notice. Soon its real value begins to creep into the price and put a floor on the stock.

  • Ukraine: How Bad For Capstone Turbine? [View article]
A penny a share loss on a much larger capitalization shows they are close to profitability and have come a long way. Economic conditions are grater than ever for clean energy and continue to be. The last time the stock traded at around 5 it had 100 million shares and was losing somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.00 per share. Do an assumed reverse split today back to 100 million and you have a 3 cent loss per quarter or 12 annually. The stock would be $5.46.

CPST hit near a three year high at 2.05 yesterday. The stock is too cheap to be using technical analysis but I'm sure many of those shorts are doing so. The capitalization has increased 200 % since then on issuance of more shares but that shouldn't mater either. Its a low priced stock that is fundamentally breaking out in its business model. Soon the stock price will reflect.
