  • Why IBM Should Follow The Example Of Apple [View article]
"Therefore, to sum up the concept, the management of IBM should temporarily reduce the buyback rate, thus leading its stock price lower in the short term, and resume its aggressive buyback program in the future, at lower prices, in which the program will be much more efficient."

You understand that this would be unethical and borderline illegal for the board of a publicly traded company to do? There would be a shareholder lawsuit immediately. Then they could spend their cash on legal battles.

  • Apple's Loser Strategy [View article]
    I totally agree.

Apple has the perception of a secure ecosystem and a huge Itunes account user base to leverage.

People fail to understand that Iphone's value to Apple isn't as a communication device, it's as a tool for shopping both online and in the real world.

Google might have billions of low priced phones in the hands of people. But they dropped the ball on Ecommerce by having an open sourced, less secure network. (I would never trust my banking info to an Android device).

Amazon gets it, but Apple is much farther ahead of them in terms of phones and devices.
