I am a technology entrepreneur for the past 20 years and an investor for the past 25 years. My investing is used for both personal and supervisorial reasons at this time. My interests involve anything technology and as a result nearly 60% of my investments focus on technology companies. As a result of current trends in technology, I have a special interest in companies that are leaders in the pocket communication/computing/imaging space, as I believe that most computing and photography in the future will be done using phone devices with superior computing and imaging devices integrated within one device. I also have an interest in companies that can properly leverage the hybrid computing space, where full power portable computing devices are married with touchscreen tablet devices in screen sizes larger than a phone device. I also like to allocate a certain percentage of speculative funds towards companies I feel are in the process of a reorganization and have seen a dramatic stock price drop in past years and as a result, I see great future upside in such a company. The remainder of my portfolio goes to stocks I feel are just great companies on a good path with a great balance sheet and often a good dividend. The majority of my SA stock blogs will be centered towards reorg companies given the amount of communication they garner here.
Hopefully going to start my MBA in Spring 2014. Really excited and decided to start investing with all the money I have saved up from working a year and a half. Bought my first 100 shares on 6.25.2013 and looking for great small stocks to climb high as well as discuss current market trends.
