  • Update: Winners Losers & Realignment

September 15th and my watch list is now up to 52 stocks.

Since February I have purchased about 23 stocks. I try to purchase $1,000 @ a time to limit my losses.

3 stocks have more than doubled and allowed me to cash out.

    The 1st was $EAPH. I bought 400,000 shares on 7/29 for $.0025. Sold 300,000 for $.01 and took $3k profit. Still have 100,000.

    The 2nd was $EDXC. I bought 17,000 @ $.06. Sold 8,500 for $.125 and took $1k profit. Still have 8,500.

    The 3rd is $RIGH. I bought 10,000,000 for $.0001. Currently @ $.0002 and I have 5,000,0000 shares for sale AON.

(that's $1k egg in every basket, won't miss next $MDBX)

(That's $1k extra in each on the legitimate medical stocks, if they find a cure or treatment legality will take a back seat.)

(I have $1k - $3k of any one stock to limit my exposure)

CA was the 1st medical state in 1996.

Its 2013, CO & WA are legal and nearly half the country including Washington D.C. are approved medically.

I don't need a calculator to do the math on that.

I don't need a crystal ball to see what's about to happen.

2014 will be BIG year for MJ and I am reading (and believing) predictions of Federally legal by 2019-2020.

    Disclosure: I am long VRX.

  • In The Green

For the 1st time since I started investing my portfolio closed in the GREEN!! BABY!!!

I love it when a plan comes together.

I started out following about 46 stocks, all MJ related to the besdt of my knowledge. I began blindly investing and quiclky started to lose.

I cashed out quickly in anticipation of a different investment. I went to investigate the new Investment AVTC. They were selling convertible promissory notes. I thought that would be the safest way to go.

I only live a few hours from the AVTC headquarters so I decided to pay them a visit. I did and was impressed with what I saw. I had decided to go through with the transaction but my money was tied up so it was delayed.

A friend I met on SA investigated further and saw several red flags and advised my against my decision. I took his advice.

Now I have all my money in cash in my E*TRADE account. I had to devise a plan. 46 stocks was too many so I narrowed it down to the stocks I thought were truly medical marijuana, meaning they produce a product that treats specific diseases such as diabetes, cancer, Parkinson's, etc.

So I am following 17 MMJ stocks. I have invested bought 15 stocks and invested about $1k in each and let it ride.

I have been in the red everyday since February until now.

    Biggest Losers: CWNM -74%,FITX - 64%

Biggest Winners: DHSM 154%, CYNAF 39%, NVLX 18%

I think things will only get better with time. November is right around the corner and should add a few more states to the mix.

  • Trimming The Fat On The Green Rush

So my little foray into the medical marijuana field cost me $3,000 in 3 months. My portfolio went from $15k to $12k.

I decided to cash out and regroup.

On Monday morning I am going to purchase a $10k convertible promissory note from AVTCE. You get a one-time 10% stock bonus, 10% interest/year for the 3 years of the loan. If you convert the note to stock in the 1st year its a 25% discount, 2nd year 15% discount, 3rd year 10% discount. As of now I intend to convert the entire note immediately.

    Now to trim the fat.

I compiled an extensive list of MJ stocks about 41 to be exact. Watching and trying to invest in these stocks over the last 3 months has been difficult to say the least.

I realized that 41 was too many stocks for me to track. For me, I barely knew anything more about the company than the ticker symbol.

So last night I trimmed my list from 41 stocks to 14. The stocks I chose are all MJ related and their main focus according to company description is Pharmaceuticals, Supplements, Biotechnology, Bio-Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals. I think these companies are less dependent on actual legality of MJ. These companies are looking for cures to Cancer, Parkinson's, Diabetes, and many more diseases.

    Here is the list:

    VRX Valeant Pharmaceuticals

    NTRR Neutra Corp

    IGXT Intgelgenx Technologies

    CYNAF Cynapsus Therapeutics

    NVLX Nuvilex Inc.

    ATTBF Abattis Bioceuticals

    XCHC X Change Corp

    CBIS Cannabis Science

    PARS Pharmos Corp

    BISU Bio Solutions Corp

    FITX Creative Edge Nutrition Inc.

    HESG Health Sciences Group Inc.

    Happy Trading!

    Disclosure: I am long OTCPK:HESG.
