  • Is A Stock Market Correction Imminent? [View article]
The Fed letting the Interest rate cat outta the bag this coming wed would qualify as a major Fundamental change from the last five years you reference. If/when there are hints of early increases, we will see volatility increase and the correction begin.

  • What To Do When You Can't Find Anything To Buy [View article]
Interesting no one has mentioned CUR, INO, or others in Biotech. If these companies continue to deliver results their trials have shown thus far, owning them now would be akin to the commenter above who bought Apple at 6/share.

Great article Gary. Given that rates will inevitably rise earlier than "expected", how do you expect the asset classes you mention above will perform? Thanks Mike

  • Inovio post-stock split trading starts today [View news story]
The phase II announcement is due this month which is why I believe INO is being very strategic with the reverse split before the announcement. The stock was not at risk of being dellisted when they approved or executed the split. Now, the price is past the threshold for institutional players to be able to participate once the announcement is made (which I'm hoping will be very positive).

Very interesting info. I would only disagree with shorting INO. I believe it is the only one on the list that has promising technology and will have a good year.....of course this is mostly based on articles I've read on SA lol

buy low sell high. Letting emotions drive your investments will equal bad outcomes. Some of the comments here reflect people who bought high....which I have done myself in the past but have since learned to be more disciplined and watch the indicators. I have not followed this company as long as some of you but if you look at the weekly chart with MVAs and BB, this stock is poised for upside spurts at least up to 2.90 in the very near term.

    Best of luck.

I'm definitely not an expert but what I know is that all of your contributions to a ROTH can be removed at any time with no penalty or taxes (since you already paid tax on it when you earned it). Therefore, you can contribute the max $5500/year, get it rolling and then remove the $5500 whenever you want. And yes you can buy and sell any securities you want with money in a ROTH. Profits & losses don't affect your taxable income unless you actually withdraw Earnings/Profits from the account before you turn 59.5 Otherwise all you trading (and hopefully profits) will accumulate tax free.

My comment about a house is true. Education and housing are exceptions to withdrawing early. ROTHs are very very beneficial if you use them accordingly.
