Have you ever stepped in to Circuit City's TV section?, Or even an easier step , have you taken a look at the TVs sold by CC online?, I have. The fact is Olevia was never a prominent brand neither on its shelves nor on its online gallery. In fact I remember seeing only a single model of Olevia in CC online. So what effect could possibly be there for a news that CC is DROPPING Olevia?. I would say NONE. The issue that worries me most (I am a long) is that BRLC tried to slip through FCC a very large number of TVs w/o digital tuners. That, while may make business sense for some crooked reasons does not make any ethical sense. Olevia is a brand that has gained its place in the HDTV world through its un paralleled customer support. They are prompt and innovative. But trying to sneek a large number of TVs past FCC w/o digital tuners and selling those to cosumers with a misleading label that reads 'HD Ready' is near criminal. It gives me chills on the quality of management team. If I have learned anything from my investing mistakes in the past is that the most important differentiator for a small fast growing company is the morality and quality of its management. If you read the actual FCC memo that fined BRLC with 3 million in fines, you will see how creepy a game the management played. I am still staying long on BRLC one because my current loses does not make sense to quit now, and two its TVs are great!, and customers love them. (I own one.). I also believe firmly that a consolidation is due in the mid price range HDTV market. With Westinghouse, Vizio and BRLC being the lead players in the US.

One aspect that worries me is that, there are more than 10 exceptional quality LCD TV manufacturers in China and Taiwan. If they enter the US markets in the near future it could be a bloodshed.
