When I was 10 my dad gave me $500 and said "invest this in the market." I quickly became fascinated with the stock market. I realized that this is the thing that is behind nearly every large company we know today. I became familiar with the charts of my relatively small watchlist in middle school. While I was in high school, I was reading tutorials about technical and fundamental analysis. I gradually improved my ability to analyze companies via their news and earnings. Since then, I have become very familiar with stocks, and use some technical analysis as well. I have recently been focusing my attention on the bigger picture, the things that affect the stock market, which is what made me want to put together my first article. I have a watchlist of over 175 stocks and it keeps growing. I am the head analyst at High Point University's Floyd T. Craven Investment Club. I am also in the Toastmasters, Sales, and Entrepreneurship Clubs.
