I am a personal investor with a healthy sense of financial skepticism which I developed while working for several global investment banks providing financial analysis and global equity research to the investment management community. As a fiscal conservative I have attached a picture of Thomas Jefferson. In contrast to Alexander Hamilton, who created a system dependent upon public debt and taxes, TJ was opposed to public debt and with the help of the Democratic-Republican Congress (i.e. the anti-Federalists) many taxes were ended on his watch. This loss of government income forced Jefferson (with much enthusiasm) to reduce the number of Federal employees and the size of the military.
