Don't Panic: Survival Guide To Prospering With Mortgage REIT 12% Yields [View article]
Hey CK- confused to your response.. I am not a general buyer of stocks here, because of the reasons you cite... only looking for beaten down sectors esp. if its one we already own. Was talking about adding to REIT positions. Thank you as always..

" I am not a buyer of REITs here"- what r your thoughts on adding to your current positions for those who plan to hold this sector ? BTW- u have a great handle on this group. We all bought for dividends and need to remember this. Also as I have said b4 in other posts , I personally do not let any sector exceed more then a 10% allocation. " according to M*..... My portfolio's stock exposure is spread evenly across the market and includes a good mix of small, medium, & large companies, as well as a fairly even mix of conservatively priced value stocks and high-flying growth stocks. For most investors, maintaining such broad-based market exposure is a prudent way to invest." JMHO.

I recently read that this was in fact going to happen.. but couldn't find it anywhere. If NLY takes over CIM do you see this as a positive for NLY ; or CIM ; or both? thanks ..

Ditto.. and TEF still has 4 stars? I bought both of these telecoms because they were touted so strongly several years ago by M*. My 2 losses.. which I will hold a bit longer - or until I cash in on some large gains and need the loss write -off.

Nick I really do appreciate your efforts here and thank you.. why does everyone take things personally here? this has absolutely nothing to do with following advice.. simply this thread began as a ridiculous retort to a comment made on giving a caller the wrong answer. We here like POT .. I am not in love with any stock. I am certainly happier now that POT has announced a 25% div increase. All I am simply saying is give your viewers the right information. And no telling me to look at TNH was even dumber and nothing to do with the subject. Thanks for the thumbs up BTW- personally I enjoy the information here and have made some good friends. BTW I was replying to the FOX sorry for that...
