    I find the Lynas Corp. projects, in Australia and Malaysia, have a similar production time table for 2010-11, and should produce slightly higher tonnage (22,000 tons of REO) than Molycorp (20,000 tons of REO) in 2012. The anticipated average grade of REO is 15% for Lynas, while Molycorp is anticipating 8% average grade. This will require Molycorp to do twice as much (more costly) mining than Lynas. On the other hand, Lynas will have greater transportation costs between their two locations.
    if overall operational costs balance out between the two operations, why wouldn't Lynas have the same profit potential as Molycorp.
