  • The Fall On The COO Leaving Has Created A Buying Opportunity For Continental Resources [View article]
The better part of the writing is about the numbers. This speculation about the COO being HAMMered is speculative gossip and not so helpful really. Commenting on the new COO is helpful. Basically, good damage control is good management. There is plenty in the article to give it a different title and drop the speculation. Your private thoughts on the affair is an unnecessary indulgence.

Since it is an approved drug being re-purposed, it can be prescribed by a physician. I would speak to yours or their physician.

    Phil.
TNX 102 SL can be scripted on off label use. Consider trying for your own assessment of its effectiveness. It would appear you are not happy with the current treatments available.

Let me rephrase that. Buying opportunity may be today. TNX-102 SL can be scripted on an off-label use. Tell your friends with FM or PTSD about this and do a personal treatment study. Why not, if they are not satisfied with current treatment.

On opportunity is near as impatient investors sell with the biotech pull back. There were a couple of large volume blips moving the stock. Likely an institutional move. I think the time to be rewarded is near. Maybe today.

  • U.S. minimum wage battle starts to heat up [View news story]
If workers are not worth the money, replace them. You will pay what is necessary or do it yourself. What is your time worth?

Employees are reduced to numbers in large corporations. Salary is a number on the Income and Loss from operations statement. Certainly some of the salary increase will translate into higher prices, but it is also true that the increase in salaries means more money in the economy.

I have only one employee other than myself. I have always paid her 150% or more of minimum wage. When my income dropped dramatically during 2008 & 9, I had to cut her hours, but I increased her pay per hour and better defined her responsibilities. I had to pick up the slack, worked three times harder for half the pay. Tough times. Things are better, the wealthy are wealthier. Now I am working less and earning more. My clients are happy.

Yes, once again, if you can afford to go to a restaurant, maybe you are making more than $10.10 an hour. Here is a tip. Try cooking yourself meals.

Cheap, self indulgent and self serving. Die alone in incomprehensible demoralization.

Yes, and deregulate and lower taxes for the wealthy to promote jobs. As if these tight close minded elitists would part with a penny if they didn't see a profit in it for themselves. They will continue to send the jobs overseas. I know what trickles down to the poor and it isn't money. And "leave no child left behind" is where they have the children pay for the mess the wealthy corporate establishment creates through deregulation, drastically insufficient wages, neglected schools, poor public roads, abandoning veterans health, promoting discrimination and only approving larger police and military. After all someone has to protect their mansions from the starving, uneducated and ever increasingly disenfranchised poor.
You have been eating the rhetoric for so long that you have started to believe it rather than see it as the money grasping, self indulgent greed that it is. Not that I have an opinion on the matter LOL

It would also seem there was a misinterpretation of the earnings due to the tax credit. Sloppy reporting spurred an over reaction. Why am I not surprised?

The idea that a minimum standard for all states isn't appropriate is purely an obstruction.
Even in the lowest cost of living adjusted states a person is not truly self supporting at $10.10 an hour. It needs to be the "get by" factor for any state. It is doubtful that you can get anyone qualified to do decent work in California for less than $15 an hour.
On the point about differences between states, it would be a good idea to create a matrix of factors to suggest a published higher minimum wage in more "expensive" states.
