Thanks for the info. I'm sure it takes a fair amount of energy to convert NG to LNG and then back. Is this figured in the equation? It still make as much sense as giving bonuses to bankers for losing money.
My state depends on oil and gas for royalty payments, so I expect more taxes and less service for the next two years. I'd rather see the 50% of the rigs sitting idle be put to use, along with the workers to man them.

How can LNG be imported when the NG that's already here is selling this cheap? I must have been asleep in Econ 101. If this is indeed the case, will some one please pull the "Kick Me" sign off of Uncle Sam's back. We should be taxing energy imports, not encouraging more.
