Could Rising Egg Prices Lead to a Chinese Market Crash?

While some of the economics in this are valid, the issue is supply, not for the rural poor, as much as it is the urban poor. Rural poor have better access to food sources, albeit incomes are lower, however, they are more often producers of food. If I keep a few chikcnes, why should I worry about egg prices...it is feed that is more expensive....thus I give them scraps...I live near an English allotment.
