  • MJNA: Seeking Alpha Writers Litigation Is Misguided [View instapost]
Alan, I think you've covered your tail. There are others who insisted on calling MJNA a pink stock long after it had risen to plain vanilla OTC. (But now it's pink again!) Either these guys were working from ignorance or they were intentionally mislabeling it. That's pretty blatant. Writers also attempted to smear current management with the failings of the previous management. Their tails, compared to yours, are quite uncovered and are itching for a stitching, as my father used to say.

  • Buying Medical Marijuana? You Are Being Robbed [View article]
"NO ONE gives a crap about Dixie Elixer unless they are on welfare."

Duh. Have you heard how well MJNA products are selling in Colorado? MJNA's helper companies sell THC and/or CBD in measured doses - these can be prescribed. Doctors appreciate precision dosage. So do researchers. And high-scale, non-smoking customers. MJNA helpers have THC oil and are ready to supply the electric cigarette market.

So MJNA can sell in med mar states or in free states. As pot freedom grows, they will chase the frontier.

Your intentionally unsound opinion makes you sound like someone who doesn't want to hang out with himself. Or to have people hang out with him. There are things about you that you can be happy about. Keep them in mind.

Visiting the company website can tell you a lot.

Ashraf, your chart illustrates a classic "short squeeze." You should know about these by now. When a solid business has been heavily shorted, a good quarterly report can force the shorts to buy in, driving the price up insanely.

MJNA filed their first quarterly report in January - and there was a squeeze. Their report for the first quarter of 2013 is due out soon. Their early announcements for Q1 2013 show income 30 percent or so above Q4 2012 income.

Do you expect the price to hit .10 before or after this quarterly report is released? Do you recommend I buy in ahead of time, or that I should wait until the report confirms that the company is solid and the price is much higher? What would you do?

    And google "short squeeze."

The best time to short the stocks is right before a major quarterly report that shows a 30% growth in income, quarter over quarter.

    Please, please, please.....

Visit their site - you will see what they're up to. They are surviving in a very anti-pot government climate. Can't use the banks, so they trade their own stock to buy raw materials. They are not breaking the law because the can ship CBD interstate - it is not illegal. Where THC can be sold, their partially-owned subsidiaries are selling it.

  • Sorry Bears, We're In A Secular Bull Market [View article]
A lot of the upside described above may be deferred until Iranian oil once more is available to the West. The price of regular on the corner just went in weeks from $3.67, where it had been sitting for months while the economy got healthy, up to $4.37, apparently as a result of the global embargo against Iran. Commuters are trapped into spending money for gasoline that would go elsewhere in the economy; the economy is being drained by the oil companies. Whose leaders golfed with Obama in Florida the other day, so I read.

Once we decide to stop hurting ourselves by driving up the price of oil and sending our money abroad to buy it - once the pain becomes too great - then we will finesse our way around the Iranian issue and let the free market restore our low gas price and our once-again-growing standard of living.

Maybe when the Dow hits about $13,200 - $13,400.

  • Reefer Madness: Pot Stocks In A Bubble [View article]
Ashraf, I think in your charts on MJNA you really saw a short squeeze and called it a pump. When MJNA went up to 50, that was a short squeeze, just like SPWR zooming up to $9 a share a month ago on the news that a Buffet company had placed a massive order. When a stock starts rising, what do the shorters do? How do they behave? When a stock you've shorted suddenly starts rising, what do you do? Get out by any means necessary?

I really don't know. I'm just trading my li'l old IRA, so I can only go long. I get in on the dead cat bounce and exit when happy days are here again. Annual returns are 20% or better.

To invest in a heavily shorted stock when it begins rising and then sell at the peak of the short squeeze is my ideal scenario. I think you should check the count of shorted shares on a stock before and after one of your "pump" peaks - you might see that the "pump" is caused by panicked shorters.

But I really know almost nothing about this.

  • Medical Marijuana: It's Just A Pump And Dump [View article]
You seem to have a lot more facts about p & d operations than you do about MJNA. It looks like you've fit the cookie to the cookie cutter.

What do you think their first quarter results are going to look like? Will sales bump up another 40%?

Is their market shrinking or expanding?

    Do they have serious competition?

  • 5 Marijuana Stocks Going Crazy (And This Could Be Just The Beginning) [View article]
And Henry Ford supported Hitler - in the beginning - so never buy a Ford. Your logic is peccable.

MJNA extracts the CBD from marijuana and ships it nationwide. CBD is totally legal, and someday may sit in a bottle next to melatonin at the Walgreen vitamin counter. Because the supply of raw materials - weed - is limited to two states, MJNA sits on top of a wonderful already-cornered market.

MJNA is supporting research in CBD's effectiveness as a cancer cure. Massive doses kill cancer in mice. As results are published, the stock may rise.

For marijuana to be illegal in so many states means CBD has a corner on the market for what may be a cancer cure. Google CBD cancer to see the latest. And visit MJNA's site for reassurance about what they're up to. There's too much of a future for this company for them to be pumping and dumping.

The extreme oscillations in price reflect hysteria, which is sometimes positive, sometimes negative, and in both cases feeds on itself. Selling the stock when it overheats and buying it back when it overchills limits the size of the swings, makes money for wise contrarians, and keeps things saner.

For a dispensary to be able to cut personnel by automating their transactions may save money for some pharmacies. But the selling of weed is becoming like the selling of fine wine, and a personal touch can make a big difference in what people buy. Automating the process may not produce gains.

As total legalization procedes, will pharmacies even continue?

In a totally legalized world, who will buy a MediPay kiosk?

I got here (30k shares, rode 12k from .09 to .43, back in at .31) when I read a new study showing that CBD in massive doses cures cancer in mice. Then I learned that focus 'wellness' groups are being supported at Southern California marijuana dispensaries by a Medical Marijuana subsidiary. I learned that unlike THC, you can send CBD through the mail. It's off the schedules.

The CBD market is national. But raw material for its production is available only in two states. MJNA owns a subsidiary that has a patented CBD extraction process. I couldn't determine if THC is a byproduct of the process, but if so, there's a free THC supply waiting to be monetized.

I googled 'MJNA portfolio' and found a page of well-defined medical subsidiaries. If their growth model is to buy and manage growing businesses, they will have a corner on pot business management. As it is, they have a corner on a potential cancer cure.

Google "CBD cancer", and you will learn about a component of cannabis that is non-toxic, non-euphoriant, and can be shipped across state lines. It appears in recent research to have helped cure cancer in mice.

MJNA has a proprietary CBD extraction process. MJNA is testing variations on its products with focus groups. MJNA is buying hemp futures, so I've. They appear to have a corner on a possible cure for one of mankind's worst medical problems.

I just rode it from .0924 up to .43. Back in now at .313 for twice the shares. It has a future.

If they're looking forward to an audit, wouldn't they keep their books in order?
