I'm 53 years old and have been investing since I was a teenager. I have an MBA in Finance and a BS in Chemical Engineering. Currently I manage our families accounts with an emphasis on capital preservation and building a long lasting stream of income. Retirement is planned for 12 years from now, but I have just started in the real estate business as a licensed agent. Depending on how things progress with being a realtor, I might never retire. But I would like to have options when the time comes. Total assets managed at this time about $.75 million dollars. Current investment income is about $20,00 per year and growing. Have made most of the mistakes described on this site and then some. But I think I learned something along the way. At least now I can learn from other people's mistakes on this site without having to make them myself. This form of education is much cheaper. Happy investing.
