  • Bitcoin/Litecoin Miners Leave AMD And Nvidia In The Dust [View article]
Absolutely true Chris. This author is a clueless amateur. AMD always knew that miners were an anomaly and did not gear up production for a short term demand scenario. Consequently, AMD cards were constantly out of stock & it was NVDA that actually benefited from the craze. All the while AMD forced NVDA to drop the price of their high end cards by a whopping 30%. I am (still) very long AMD and will be for the foreseeable future.

  • AMD Looks Finished [View article]
I'm already up 100% on 20k shares so I can take that all day long.

I use to own 11.2k shares of INTC with an adjusted basis of about $1.52. Sold it all between about $35 & $70/share because I realized that INTC can ONLY make x86 chips. They have failed at EVERY other business they tried to get into. They couldn't even develop the x86 64bit instruction set.

    So NOW who's laughing... amateur!!!

  • Boeing: Pacing With The 777X And 787 [View article]

I agree. Boeing unions showed bad intent during the last strike when they apparently sabotaged some of the planes in production. Even if the initial start-up costs are higher it is a premium worth absorbing to ensure the safety of corporate profits & passenger personal safety.

I'm glad management isn't succumbing along the same lines that the management teams of the auto industry succumbed. And look where it got them.

  • Is Yandex A Better Investment Than Google Or Baidu? [View article]
Why would you invest in a company whose growth metric is based on the population of its home country when the population of the home country is declining? The most recent census showed a Russian population decline from 144mil to 140mil, 10% of which is based in 2 cities. I am long BIDU.

  • Intel Ready To Surge On New Ivy Bridge Chips, Smartphone [View article]
GO Principle. Isn't it sad how all of the non-techs can preach the Promise of Intel that is actually History when you look at the track record of some of Intel's competitors. I guess if I was still long INTC I'd have my eyes wide shut too but I dumped all 11,600 shares after their last stock split in Y2k at over double what the price is now.

  • Analysts Are Not Properly Acknowledging That Advanced Micro Devices Is Now Fabless [View article]
Nice article L.D. Keep up the unbiased reporting. There are waaay too many INTC bigots writing articles on these web sites.

I use to be an INTC bigot too because I was afraid that AMD couldn't afford the cost of a recall. I also owned 11,200 shares of INTC from 1994 to around 2000/2001. But guess what, I sold all of the INTC before the dot com bubble burst and AMD seems to find their flaws before releasing a product. Yes, they get bashed by the media when they are late to market but only INTC has actually had CPU recalls... 2 of them. Now I'm very long AMD since 2008Q4 and recently replaced my INTC desktop & laptop with AMD APUs and couldn't be more pleased on both counts.

After I read this article & saw BIDU on your list I had to check the page heading because I thought I had accidentally read an article on This was an absolutely ridiculous commentary on BIDU and I'm surprised the editors on SA published it.
