  • Why The iPad Mini Will Benefit Apple's Gross Margins [View article]
Smart Money (or the so called) distributed AAPL in the last 3 weeks because it HAD to. They have to produce performance over time, to justify their existence. They'll begin accumulation sooner or later. Sooner, by the looks of AAPL descent and relentless distribution. In day-to-day market terms, still a long way to January... until they start the real accumulation, AAPL can only go down or sideways. Every bounce will be sold.

  • Apple Is Trading At 60-75% Premium To Its Sum Of Parts Valuation [View article]
Why are you so-called analysts (opinionistas!) so utterly blind to what is happening out there in the real world?
Revise down #s? It'll only enhance the upside effect/reaction once the REAL numbers, not speculation, will come out. And it doesn't take genius to realize they will be HUGE.
Can you say 17 to 20 EPS come Jan 13? I guess not...

  • This won't help get rid of those iPhone 5 shortages: China Labor Watch claims 3K-4K Foxconn workers at a plant in the city of Zhengzhou went on strike this afternoon, protesting over a lack of quality control training needed to meet the iPhone 5's (AAPL -2.1%) exceptional requirements, and demands to work during a holiday. Multiple iPhone 5 production lines were reportedly put into a "state of paralysis." Two weeks ago, Foxconn had to shut down another Chinese plant due to a riot. Update: Foxconn denies a strike occurred, and claims production remains on schedule. [View news story]
I agree with you, but news organisations are indeed no better. They are actually very often much worse, as they sell themselves as credible sources of information, when they clearly are not credible.

  • Apple: Say Hello To Risk And Uncertainty [View article]
Man, relax. Competition is good. It gives room for improvements and growth.
In any case, it's only a matter of time till Android/GOOG gets the thermonuclear treatment that SJ promised he'd deliver to it. It's already started.

Oh, I'll be the first one to exit when I see any REAL sign of trouble/decline. Not yet, buddy... not yet.
The sad thing? Boy, you gotta love trading samaritans...
This is the nature of the game. Please short AAPL and make some money now. Or... yea, exactly.

  • Apple: Say Hello To Risk And Uncertainty [View article]
Awesome. Keep articles like this coming, please. The lower the expectations (notwithstanding all the evidence of record blowout sales and off the charts demand), the higher The AAPL will go. When the time is right, of course. Let them Big Boys accumulate big time into this fake BS weakness.

  • Sharp (SHCAY.PK) says it's now making "adequate volumes" of in-cell touch panels, many of which (if not all of them) are going to Apple (AAPL) for use in the iPhone 5. A shortage of in-cell panels, also supplied by LG Display (LPL) and Japan Display, is believed to be responsible for early iPhone 5 supply shortages. Meanwhile, iPhone 5 sales are commencing in 22 additional countries today, as well as with smaller U.S. carriers such as Leap Wireless (LEAP). [View news story]

  • Boosted by strong Galaxy S III sales, Samsung (SSNLF.PK) is estimated to have sold 50M smartphones in Q2, according to analysts polled by Reuters. That's easily above the 30.5M iPhones Apple (AAPL) is believed to have sold (ed: many firms have dropped their Q2 estimates below 30M in recent days). Samsung's Android phones often sell at much lower price points than the iPhone, and that has helped them take share from Nokia (NOK) and others in Europe and emerging markets.  [View news story]
Yey, an opinion that is. Rather misinformed, though.
But, we Apple investors and traders need the misinformed and blind people like yourself. We love the look of surprise and disbelief every single quarter. And yet you guys don't get it.. you don't get the bigger picture that Apple is trying to achieve and deliver with every single product they launch.
Design elegance in Samsung? Holy crap, I just heard the funniest joke of the month.
