Is the GLD ETF Really Worth Its Metal?

How do you "briefly peruse" something? Peruse is to go over something carefully, which this author certainly did not do when reveiwing GLD's financial statements or prospectus. I understand that many people are afraid after the Madoff scandal, among others, but trying to poke holes in every popular investment out there is just plain stupid. All you whack jobs who are afraid of investing in GLD, just don't do it. It's that simple. Keep your precious coins buried in your closet, yea that's safe and intelligent.
