Retired executive of Fortune 50 company. Left corporate life in my late 40s, have done some consulting since but mostly play golf, travel, relax. Help wife run her small company business, a commercial rental property. I now spend a portion of each day reading financial information on the internet, and staying involved with world politics. I have become increasingly concerned about the direction the global economy is headed and am more actively involved in managing our family's assets to protect my children's future. I have no insider knowledge, have no professional training in financial investing, and do not feel I am more skilled than anyone else. What I have is very good instincts that I trust, and act upon. I have a high degree of ethics, so while I will make mistakes, if I say something it is my true opinion and not ever designed to mislead anyone. I never would benefit from other's misery. There is enough of that in the world without me contributing to it. Good luck to all.
