When Chuck offers up companies for review I listen. Chuck did an article on growth stocks about two years ago which analyzed HAS, ROST, and QCOM among others. I purchased HAS at 43.09, ROST at 60.58 and QCOM at 67.57. I echo the sentiment of GEEZER 2 and Gary Jakacky

I am long AAPL, IBM, MSFT, and QCOM. I liked seeing in your spreadsheet that the above companies are increasing their dividend payouts.

The law requires that we sign up for this insurance. I pay Medicare insurance a monthly premium in addition I pay a monthly premium for the medicare advantage insurance. In effect the Insurance is paying the bills. Insurance which I have paid into. If I have a car accident I expect my insurer to cover my bills.

Being over the age of 65 I have Medicare Parts A&B plus a Medicare Advantage plan with Part D drug coverage. This combination puts a stop loss on my medical costs. I do not worry over how my medical bills will be paid or how much the companies you mentioned are charging. Powerful deep pockets are paying the bills. I am long LLY, JNJ, ABT, ABBV. I am a long time follower of your wonderful and intelligent articles.

It sure is, as it is difficult to find in one place concise information such as you supply. I use Chowder's division of holdings into Core, Strategic, and Speculative. I am looking to make NEE a Strategic position and to make GPT a Speculative position. Core is a full unit, Strategic is a 1/2 unit, and Speculative is 1/4 unit. Your screen corresponds to my Core holdings and that is why NEE and GPT did not appear. If one had the inclination I suppose that screens could be developed for Strategic and Speculative positions which would have different criteria. I look forward to future articles and the comments which will be generated.

In reviewing your list I have 17 corresponding holdings. I wondered if you had come up with any data on NEE and GPT? I like your screening system as I am looking at adding some new companies to my portfolio.. Thanks..
    Thanks

I thought IBM and UTX had reached price points that made them both worth getting into. I am sceptical but hopeful. AAPL is a no-brainer in my opinion. The way I see it is the market it a pricing mechanism that has no memory and does not make mistakes. I agree with everything in your reply. Thanks for your contributions.

Incredible amount of effort to build these charts. Prior to the publishing of this article I added AAPL, IBM, and UTX. I now feel reassured about my recent purchases. Thanks for the work that you do.
