Federated Investors: A Renewed Hope

Steve, Thanks for the article. I have a question about the dividend. I've owned FII for a while but was thinking about selling it. When they say that I must be on record as a shareholder as of Sept. 9, does that mean I have to hold it until then? Also, does that mean I can sell it on the 9th or do I have to wait until the 10th? (Can you tell I'm anxious to get rid of it??) In your experience, is there usually a selling stampede the day after the dividend date? Thanks for your help and guidance on this.
