I walked away like a bandit yesterday. Bought at 80 cents Monday, sold at 1.96 yesterday. Embarrassing how much money I made in 24 hours.

  • Keep Calm And Exit BlackBerry [View article]
BlackBerry. A great company, great products, great people, great fans. Unfortunately the target of arguably the MOST MANIPULATED STOCK in history. I've enjoyed my time with SA articles and commenters but feel its time to bid adieu. Farewell my good friends. Long BlackBerry. Always.

  • The BlackBerry Passport Is A Disruptive Technology Set To Transform America's Boardrooms [View article]
    LOL, ok let's review....

"1)Wireline communications are a lot cheaper."

Wifi is less expensive than any wireline.

"2)Wireline comms have perfect signal, unlike mobile phones trying to get to a satellite from the heart of a metal building."

    No fidelity issues with wifi

"3) Conferencing hardware is cheaper than mobile phones and more durable."

What? How is an additional single function hardware conferencing device cheaper than a multipurpose cellphone? Passport is designed for on the go durability. Conference equipment durability designed to sit in an indoor stationary environment.

"4) Conferencing hardware has much louder speaker capabilities than a mobile because a mobile phone doesn't require them (the clue is in the name)"

My Z30 pounds out the sound. The Passport will be the same.

"5) Conferencing hardware has a much longer battery life considering its plugged in."

Seriously? My phone comes with an adapter. Just use the plug no longer used by conferencing hardware. Regardless the battery will last 25 hours anyways.

"6) Conferencing doesn't require the use of a small screen and most are happy to use a GoToMeeting to project onto the big screen"

What? Ok, in addition to the conferencing equipment we no longer need, we also don't need the workstation hosting the GoToMeeting you speak of.
    So even MORE savings.
