I agree about Switzerland. If the supporters of Yes wanted to have any chances, they should make that 20% a 12% maximum.

  • Cobalt International Energy: Is The Slump A Never Ending Story? [View article]
So, after calling out the SA Editors along with the proven SA authors with a proven track record, now you also call me out and you claim that I do not know anything about investing...

If you really care about the credibility of SA platform, let SA do the job. This is out of the scope of your duties.

You had better focus on your articles, and improve the quality of your articles and your picks instead. Then will we see if the proven SA contributors know nothing and you know so much, as you claim. In any case by the competition among the authors, the readers will be benefited, like they have by VD's picks. On the contrary, the continuous personal attacks doesn't help.

Regarding the last period and how worked about VD's long picks, you are wrong on that. VD's short calls were ALSO successful during the last period, like GDP, HK, CIE, JRCC, GMXR, BONT, etc, even before oil prices dropped sharply.

But who is me? It seems that I have to step aside because you, has just arrived. You still have to prove your "deep knowledge" in contrast to our ignorance by more actions than words, though.

    The Critical Investor,

I am one of VD's followers for almost two years now, and I have made a lot of money thanks to his picks, including those mentioned here (CIE, JRCC, BONT). Meanwhile, you are a new author with few articles, few followers per article (less than 10), few followers in aggregate, and questionable success.

I recommend you to focus on your articles and your picks instead of calling out proven authors with a proven track record and a proven success. You even call out the SA editors now, trying to correct the way they do their job. I do realize that jealousy is part of the human nature, but you have to get over it one day and focus on your articles.

The facts about VD's picks (CIE, JRCC, BONT) are there either you like them or not. Those analysts or SA authors who are correct, must get the credits for their success (at least), and I do not have any problem with this.
If they were fund managers, they would make some millions. If they were analysts, they would get a promotion and a salary increase. Do not also forget that when the SA contributors make mistakes, they are accountable for these mistakes "being attacked" by the commentators.

  • Lonestar Resources Is Hilariously Undervalued Right Now [View article]
Value Digger recommended LNR at $0.32 in early June when oil was at $90/bbl. That was a Top Idea article and the stock rose up to $0.60 within three months.

So the stock yielded 100% during the summer, when many other energy stocks were correcting during the summer. I bought LNR in ASX higher than his recommendation price and I sold it with a very high gain as I had enough time and many opportunities to do so in 3 months. I didn't expect from him to advise me when to sell and when to buy again as I am just one of his 6,000 followers. Just to set things straight.

    Value Digger,

I noticed you recommended BNO to the subscribers of your newsletter last week, when BNO was at $33. You say now that you will be watching several moving parts over the next months before buying the Russian ETFs (RSX) and (RUSL). Which are these moving parts? Will your subscribers again be the first to know about when you pick RSX and RUSL?

In an article, you also recommended the Greek ETF (GREK) at approximately $15 back in 2013.
GREK rose to $25 in early 2014 and currently hovers at about $18. Is it a good buy now?

    TIA

  • Petroamerica: My Additional Take [View article]
That's strange, some of my partners visited three times Putumayo region this year and they haven't faced any security problems there.
But I agree, the situation there is different than US or Canada. This is the reason Value Digger in his articles compares PTAXF with its colombian peers or other companies in places like Nigeria or Kurdistan, where definitely is situation is much worst than Colombia.
