Is the Global Economy Drowning in a Sea of Black Gold?

The author seems to say US crude inventories are the highest they have been in the last decade. I check the EIA site (www.eia.doe.gov/pub/oi...) and they seem to say crude inventories are at the bottom of the range for this time of year ...
