  • Why CCME Fraud Claims Don't Hold Up [View article]
Why pay CEO 15m per year in stock and give base salary of $50k?

Why give Starr Stock for 50% of real value at that time?

    Somethings fishy going on...

This company doesnt need Starr, doesnt need dilution, yet it does so happily.

it just doesnt make sense. There is no need for dilution, since CCME has very low CApEx. Expansion is done by writing contracts, which don't need payments of millions upfronts. Creating the SWITOW website doesnt costs millions. They don't have inventory, SWITOW is a passthrough site. The company is WILDLY PROFITABLE.

IT MAKES NO SENSE TO DILUTE.

  • Why CCME Fraud Claims Don't Hold Up [View article]
Point 3 is too far fetched. As I recall one of the shorters statements was bank statements are requested by Chinese Mainland partner audit firms, which then requested by Deloitte Hong Kong. So Deloitte makes use of a third party which is troubling if this is true, though I don't know.

Because that's the weakest link. So according to the shorts Deloitte could still be an innocent victim and the bank too, and the only guilty one the chinese partner mainland auditors and CCME management.

We still don't know the method how Deloitte verifies bank statements.

  • Is China Media Express Still a Buy? [View article]
I don't see CCME as a buy at the moment. You would only buy to short squeeze, and I think there are better candidates out there for that.

The risk is too great for the reward, which will be I estimate at most a doubling.

All those three points are still up in the air. Just because you want them to be true doesn't make them true. I'm waiting for MW rebuttal of CCME's rebuttal before I make up my mind.

    You're not thinking logically.

    Think about it.

Would you rather short an honest Chinese company, or a fraudulent Chinese company?

Either CCME is fraudulent, or they were an easy target to begin with compared to other Chinese reverse mergers, which is explained because of various exaggerations they made (exclusive license etc.)

All this posting of personal information is exactly incriminating those who wish to incriminate MW. As I recall, posting personal details with intent to harass is still a no-no in the USA.

    Backfire.

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that people who experienced white-collar crime in practice simply are more perceptive of other people committing white-collar crime.

This compared to goodie two-shoes who have only theoretical understanding of white-collar crime, which includes most common investors of CCME.

Lawsuits against CCME or MW are exceptionally difficult to win.

They are both domicilied in China. No jurisdictional control.

I have a few unanswered questions. Were the relationships with certain company real or fake? (easily verifiable). Did Deloitte confirm 170 million and how thorough was that? (according to some yes, to other not).

In any case, all this slander against mw and Citron doesn't help the bull case at all. In fact, it helps the bears case. The people who are most likely to discover fraud, are people who defrauded in their past. Certainly their pasts add to their credibility

You know all the conspiracy talk about shorters working in unison, shady pasts of MW and Citron actually do the opposite.

Have you ever heard of the saying "it takes a criminal to expose a criminal"? Why do you think police uses so much informants?

The whole fact that MW and Citron have experience how to be shady in white-collar stuff, means they know where to look for. Their shady pasts add credibility to their short reports.

This is funny, since it wholly contradicts the general investors opinion who deny everything in their reports for some reason and call inconsistencies "exaggeration" normal for China.
