  • Silvercorp's Management Speaks In Exaggerations And Half-Truths [View article]
Adam, do you have any proof that "xian" lied to you? I don't think so. Did you record the conversation, maybe YOU are lying? Even if she lied, it was because she was having a bad day. Having a bad day does not mean you are a fraud.

I have noticed how western white people bully the weak chinese and demand answers. The chinese dont work that way, look at VALV. Western investors bullied them and now the company is dying.

  • Why Berkshire Hathaway Will Underperform In The Long Run [View article]
Your arguments contradicts yourself. You state Berkshire is overinvested in stagnant, cyclical industries like financials, which perform poorly in recessions. Buffet should buy growth industries. However these perform worse in recessions as growth is hurt. At the same time, you argue we are heading into a recession. Is it me or is your argument all over there?

  • Zhongpin: Standing By Our Original Conclusions [View article]
    According to HOGS 10-K
" As of December 31, 2010, we had a total of 157 showcase stores, 1,072 branded stores and 2,097 supermarket counter locations."

If it's a counter, why is it branded a branded/showcase store instead of a supermarket counter? HOGS makes it's own distinctions, but then messes it up. Then why make the distinctions at all?

  • China Green Agriculture: What if It's Legitimate? [View article]
There is a Seekingalpha VALV story. This guys bought KEYP. Ignore the chart of KEYP since the halt, and you will see a very attractive long. Quarterly dividend even!!!

RTO's simply not safe for investing currently, only for nimble traders playing momentum. Once Muddy Waters starts long ideas, like they said they would, 2 years ago, we can begin trusting again.

  • Interactive Brokers Group: Under-the-Radar Long-Term Bargain [View article]
IB UK is stealing discount accounts from existing brokers in the expensive european mainland. Just because they are cheaper. Is this a long-term winning strategy, like with Dell? Undercutting competition? I don't think so.

It may provide profits in the short-term, but eventually competitors will sprung up who undercut even you.
