On December 19th BAC traded below $5 intraday. This set-off an alarm at the Federal Reserve who issued a buy order for BAC. The Federal Reserve will not allow BAC to go below $5 because mutual funds and institutional investors would be forced to liquidate their position because they are not allowed to invest in stocks trading below $5. That's right I'm telling you the Federal Reserve is backing BAC and they will never let them go bankrupt. They have lent them all the money, and guaranteed their bad debts, and the Federal Reserve has the right to buy stocks too. BAC is going up because it's cheaper for the Federal Reserve to buy up all the BAC stock than deal with a financial crisis of letting them go bust.

My suggestion is accelerated depreciation like Reagan did in the 1980's. Give real estate investors accelerated depreciation on investment property. Instead of depreciating the house on a 20 year schedule, let them write it off in 10 years. For businesses let them accelerate depreciation to 3 years on trucks and equipment.

My family subscribes to Netflix and it's so cheap we can't find a reason to quit or switch. The tipping point will come when the subscription base stops growing and starts to decline. Replay AOL in 2001-2003 when they were mailing hundreds of millions of CD's trying maintain their subscription base. Show me a decline in Netflix's subscription base and then I'll believe it's a short.
