  • BlackBerry 10 Feature May Run Into Big Snag [View article]
By default any electronic devices should be treated as unsecured until proven otherwise. I remember having stickers on secured communication devices that read "remember that someone else is listening ". I treat any "sharing system " the same way.

  • BlackBerry: Z10 Is Not Enough [View article]
I would like to comment. But every time I callout BS. It gets deleted. So here goes. I have both apple,Samsung, and bb in my household. They all have strengths and weaknesses. I. Use my BB and my PB for work and lots of play. My daughter loves iPhone for games and videos. My wife likes Samsung. But here's the kicker, the ipad isn't getting used, my daughter prefers my wife's PB.

I do not see the need to disparage and company that is providing jobs and pays taxes within the north American economy.

The only reason that I see for the negative news/articles has to do with making money. Not from producing a product or service, nope, but by destroying companies and raping the remains.

That's my opinion. As far as I am concerned, shorting should be illegal. If youndont like a stock, company ect, don't buy it.

    Period ,end of commetz

  • It's Too Early To Get Excited About BlackBerry's Revival [View article]
    Where to begin

    Battery life - resolved.
    Camera -resolved
    Netflix -resolved
Security - really? What information do you have that would make you say that? Using QNX is stand alone the best there is. The report you quote is for 5.0 and older os. Btw no longer supported.
As far as allowing ios and android on my enterprise, just another reason to use the services.

As stated above, you sir are misinformed and incorrect.

  • More on BlackBerry (BBRY -6.8%): Deutsche's Brian Modoff is questioning early reports (from Thorsten Heins and others) of strong Z10 demand in the U.K. and Canada. Deutsche's survey of 60 stores in the countries found no sellouts in the U.K., and that those in Canada were attributed by reps to limited supplies. Meanwhile, Detwiler Fenton notes in its report Samsung "has been poaching key engineers and managers" from BlackBerry as it ramps its enterprise efforts. (earlier[View news story]
It must be hard to be short on bbry. The negative stories are getting ridiculous. Next story will be how the toilet tissue has been changed to single ply because they cannot afford the better kind.

I enjoyed your perspective. I don't have the heart for investing in the volatile tech industry that is bbry. However that being said I wish the best of luck to all who do.

It does sound good. However, I fear that the first sales numbers will be twisted as they see fit to keep the fear alive.
