  • BlackBerry Will Lose Enterprise To Windows [View article]
My post was deleted. So I will rephrase my reply. I disagree with microsoft replacing BlackBerry in anything. The bugs, malware and general insecurity of that platform are the main downfalls.

  • BlackBerry Up On Reported Samsung Takeover Interest [View article]
This offer was a stock manipulation of the worse kind. Shorting should be illegal. If you don't like a stock or company don't buy it. The market is being manipulated by instant traders using massive buys and sells to manipulate the price then canceling them before they are executed. It is turning the stock market into a Vegas slot machine.

  • Bankers Face BlackBerry Dilemma As EZ Pass Program Expires [View article]
To switch systems requires months of testing and reconfiguration to ensure a smooth transition. If there were any concerns regarding the viability of blackberry as a going concern, most would have already moved systems prior to the end of the ez pass offer. I believe that blackberry used this free option to ensure that they worked with the companies to provide upgrades that were completed free of any issues. This would serve them on two fronts, firstly keep the existing customers on blackberry services and to prove to the users that it is and will a going concern for the foreseeable future. IMHO

  • For BlackBerry, The Classic Is A Step Back [View article]
I guess I'm a self deprecating blackberry user. I think that is abusive language directed towards blackberry users. I expect that SA will remove this article as per their own rules regarding abuse in their terms of service agreement.

  • Earnings Preview: BlackBerry Q3 2015 [View article]
David. Why not? I agree it is a risky proposition, however, niche companies can survive and in fact flourish in extremely competitive marketplaces. The consumer market has several juggernauts smashing it out, why not be the silent cruiser slipping through the lines and delivering a surgical strike to the intended target.

  • Apple, IBM bring iOS enterprise apps to market [View news story]
Enterprise apps are nothing new. A lot of companies won't use them, unless the IT department has a vested interest in them. Our company, which is a large cap +10000 employees, don't use any enterprise apps unless they have been developed in house. Good luck to all companies.

So someone bases sales expectations based upon Google searches? Sounds like a good way of doing things. And SA never fails to slam blackberry as well. I wish the best for any company.

  • Canadian Natural Resource chairman sees oil touching $30 [View news story]
Marpy -Really. He would have no idea where the price could be heading. I'm sure he has more insight to the market and the players in it then you do. I believe that Mr Edwards started CNRL from nothing and has built it into a world class company. What have you done?

  • Amazon Appstore to be available on BlackBerry 10 phones [View news story]
Snap would be a nice addition to the app stores as well. People are blown away when I show that I can run android apps on my z10. The only caveats are that some work better than others. Nothing beats built for BlackBerry.

  • Apple Is Walking Up The Down Staircase [View article]
How much more can the company really grow? China is next, there is about 100 million who can afford an apple product. Will they buy one? Replacement or repurchase with current models will account for most of the regular underlying revenue stream as far as hardware. Revenue has to come from services. Apps and entertainment seem to be where Apple is headed. Samsung is already in the hardware end of those industries, Apple wants to sell consumers the content. Content is king. Managing that revenue stream is the key to Apples future. Keeping the consumer on board is going to get tricky as technologies seem to be reaching a saturation point in regards to real innovation. Before I get flamed for that, I mean real step innovative not incrementally innovative. From features to smartphone is a step, model numbers are for the most part incremental. It doesn't take long before what is being introduced is not being purchased as it doesn't differ from the previous enough to warrant the expense of the change. The future is in providing content.

  • Bloomberg: BlackBerry to get major boost from Ford [View news story]
The qnx system is compatible with all systems. It is an excellent base from the which to base anything on. I think that the auto industry will love the air updates to the software of the vehicle.
