  • Simulations Plus: Several Catalysts Provide Favorable Risk-Reward [View article]
Financial projections assume constant shares outstanding which I believe will grow and cause the EPS projections to be a bit overstated.

  • How Much Should Liberty Offer For Sirius XM? [View article]
Wolf Child - You make the most sense ! After all, in a "Free Market" it's how much the other guy is willing to pay based on how much it's worth to THEM, and Malone needs more of SIRI to continue with his plan.

Love your reference to how Malone "stole" SIRI at a low price years ago; same situation here - he needs SIRI stock more than SIRI stock needs him.

  • Liberty Makes Unacceptable Offer For Sirius [View article]
Maybe the crazy low offer price was purposeful to attract competing bids from the likes of Apple & Google.

Gotta' remember Malone is very crafty.

  • Cheniere Energy Poised To Correct: Gross Overvaluation In Relation To Negative Cash Flows [View article]
I'm amazed you'd be allowed to publish such an absurd and misleading article.

Comparing Cheniere with companies in full operation while it's ramping up it's production and citing those differences to justify the claim the share price is over-priced illustrates how foolish and-or deceitful you are.

How you justify comparing a company with relatively no revenues due to it's "start-up" nature with companies in full production totally baffles me.

  • The Sirius XM $50 Million Marketing Effort [View article]
An informative and interesting article but I think a bit misleading in your main point.

You strongly imply Sirius used $50+ million in company assets via the satellite display (despite noting it was an impaired $0 value asset) by comparing its marketing effectiveness to other uses of $50 million of cash in alternative marketing campaign(s).

    You end your article with:

"Could a creative ad on TV convince someone to go to the Sirius XM web site or call the customer service center to sign up for service?

Perhaps not, but it would seem to be a reasonable use of cash and more effective than having a $56 million large black cube sitting in a remote corner of the Udvar-Hazy Center."

Your comparison of the 2 is not equivalent - the satellite had $0 value so to compare it against "new" money of $50 million and what value that $50 million would generate and create is a false comparison.

Certainly Sirius management was not so foolish to compare the 2 as equivalent and instead chose to utilize the presumably technologically obsolete satellite in a way they thought best to generate at least some value to shareholders.

  • Sirius XM: Google And Apple Fight For Its Rights [View article]
To those who understand this all alot better than me - with the talk of Apple and-or Google interested in Sirius and Apple maybe trying to get into TV-land, does the Liberty Media recent stake in Charter make any combination more or less likely or are these disconnected events ?

  • Sirius XM: The Real Reason for the Sudden Surge in Volume and Price [View article]
Regardless if you're right or not on a future drop in share value, why does it make sense to short such a low priced stock ?

I realize a $.50 drop on a $2.50 price is a 20% return, but I still question the big deal here on shorting.

It seems the risk v.s reward ratio is too high.
