HEP C will not be cured for decades. People will continue to get the disease from needle use etc. Just check the recent articles about the epidemic of Hep C in rural towns. These drugs will have many years of terrific sales because it does cure Hep C in INDIVIDUALS but it will take decades to cure it in society.

  • Amgen, Regeneron LDL-Lowering Drugs Provide Major Upside Potential To Their Stocks [View article]
Thanks Doc. I am a bit skeptical. First of all these drugs need to be injected which is not as convenient as taking a pill. Second with two similar drugs coming out with about the same benefits, wouldn't the insurance companies play one off the other in pricing.

Why does anybody contribute to SA. Do you think the regular writers have positions in all the stocks they write about? Paulo is trying to educate you. If he is right his reputation will grow. Time will tell.

the price of the stock is telling you the author is on the right track. Can any owners of the stock explain the dramatic decline in the shares unless the technology is out dated. Many tech companies (IBM etc) have made relatively small bets on new technologies that did not work out.

  • Why Monitise Is Done [View article]
I agree. I got out at $1.10 because MONIF kept issuing shares. That is a tell that the money burn rate was too high and investors were being diluted. Because of all the big names in this issue (Cooperman and Kass) a lot of people were burned on this one. Never buy into a company that regularly issues shares to survive.
