Vote: "NO". I have repeatedly explained the reasons. Please read. And if you post, do not be surprise if your post is deleted.

It is kinda ironic that no matter where one goes in posting boards, for the most part, Liberty stockholders want the deal and siri stockholders do not.

There will be no synergy. Liberty is a conglomerate with many parts that have no relationship to other parts.

The "discount" would be bigger if SIRI is part of Liberty.

I don't care about the ratio. I care about the pure play. And so have said many others. You can go to other posting venues and you will find the same thing. Most everybody prefer the pure play. Malone is trying to dilute our future prospects. If I wanted Liberty, I would have bought Liberty.

I understand the proposal quite well, and I do not like. It is very disingenuous and disrespectful of those who are for a "YES" vote to accuse the rest of us of being ignorant in general as well as in particular. That is generally what people do when they do not have a good argument for their stated point of view. I see hidden agendas and enemies in our midst.

That's exactly why we do not want it. But make up your mind, is SIRI 75% of Liberty or is Liberty much more than SIRI. Now you are getting ridiculous.

Liberty wants to saddle us with the 25% we do not want, most of which is garbage.

    Spencer,

I have been an investor since the 1970's. Once upon a time I was licensed. I do not appreciate your condescending attitude as if we who do not like this deal are ignorant and not smart. I will vote "NO" for the very same reasons as I stated here before: I invested in SIRI as a stand alone because I believe in the model and have for years. If I felt that way about the Liberty model, I would have invested in it. Malone is trying to take us over on the cheap. The future of SIRI, in my opinion, is far rosier than that of Liberty, but that is achieved best as a stand alone. We also have no idea what this new class of shares will trade in the market. You want me to give away the certainty of the current stock for the uncertainty of how a third class of share will function in the monstrosity of the Liberty conglomerate. I prefer more pure plays. They are easier to understand and appreciate. And, once again, if I wanted to have been a stockholder in Liberty, I would have invested in Liberty. Vote "NO." This is a con to try to steal part of our future.

Now that you have patted yourself on the back repeatedly and fell in a trance looking at your words in the mirror .......

...... all of my SIRI shares are, for practical purposes, free of charge, being that I have had so many short puts and calls expire worthless over the years that selling them has brought me in more money than what I paid for my current long stock holdings.

Currently, along with my long shares, I am short $5 calls expiring Jan. 15, which were sold when the stock was more than $4. And I have short puts at $3.5 and $4 at several expiration dates within the next six months. So, there ....

Now, we have both patted ourselves in the back....

    Now that

So thoroughly incorrect. All stocks trade on hope. It is called future expectations. Future expectations do have a relationship to fundamentals and past performance. These are guide to expectations. Anyone could possibly argue that SIRI is behind NFLX in the "hope" department. For one thing, NFLX is already trying to go internationally; SIRI has not. Being that the case, if SIRI were to announce a plan to start doing so, it should then go up exponentially. But in truth, both companies have a bright future, and I can more easily see the day when NFLX makes a big adjustment in price downwards, but not in SIRI.
