  • EU: Apple Tax Deals Granted By Ireland Broke State Rules [View article]
Doesn't sound right. The stock price has already corrected 3% down already. Why should this so called liability that may come or not in 1 1/2 year should you be worried about? As time goes on and more information is known, there will be corrections along the way, up or down on the stock price incrementally.

  • Update: Apple's iPad And iPod Touch Applications Received FDA Approval [View article]
    Thanks for the interesting article.
There was a similar type of development at UC Irvine using Otoharmonics type of device for Tinnitus treatment. I have tried to get an appointment with Dr. Zeng who may have left UC I and seemingly raising capital for his Sound Cure company in San Jose. He was not available at that time, when I was in Mountain View for the Fourth of July with my son.
Do you know who invented Otoharmonics? There were a few audiologists certified for the Sound Cure, and I am sure they should not be very much different from the Otoharmonics to retrain them even if the two groups have done it differently. I am very familiar with the work at UC I, but not to the one at Cedars- Sinai. I even had an appointment to see one of the audiologists trained by Dr. Zeng group, but cancelled it when I could not get hold of Dr.Zeng. I am sure the aaps will be much cheaper than $2,000.

  • Apple's Low-Cost Business Mac: PC Implications [View article]
Thanks for your post, J. M. Manness. If Apple come out with a Mac System that sells for less than $400, I will be the first to buy a couple for my own use. I had a few Mac(s) during the 1980's when they first came out. I had a small R&D Limited Partnership co. at that time, and every one in the company learned how to use the Mac(s). It only took one week end for all of them to learn how to use it.

I agree with you. The management should follow what is in the best interest for the company as a whole not just follow what a few share holders want.

His first holding may not be in the technical sector . You can't compare what he had invested in another sector which may be in finance, bonds , real estate, etc. with what he invests in technical sector in ranking. Otherwise, you may be comparing Apples to Oranges( pun intended).

  • Apple: This Is Ridiculous [View article]
GOOG's R&D is basically just R; and D usually take a long time to achieve in the type of company they bought, and by then some one else may be in that domain. Buying idea companies that do not make sense very much in practice, take much longer to develop. The driver-less car do not make them an innovative company. Get that through the Govt. safety regulations, and it could sink. That is wasting shareholder money.
The pair trade suggested is a good idea!
    Short GOOG, Long AAPL.
