Looks like all the quoted analysts were wrong. Also Vrnga patent trial started 10/16. No settlement before trial. They are asking for a big license % for both the past and future use of their patents. Or Apple might buy Vrgna just for revenge against Android.
Apple announced they would use Baidu as their search engine in China for the IPad. We haven't seen what impact this will have on Baidu yet. My guess is that the impact will be positive.

If CRM's revenues were to double to $6 billion and their net profit margin was 7% (which is the highest rate they have ever had) their net income would be $420 million. At their current price, that would result in a PE ratio of 48.8. That's a pretty high valuation for a company that is currently losing money at an increasing rate.

I think this is a pretty good summary of the relative positions of AAPL, GOOG and MSFT. I look at Google to be more of a Venture capital allocater than the other two. Although 98% of their income is from advertising, they are exploring many areas, a few of which will probably become successful ventures. Also, while Mr. Softy has ambitious plans for the immediate future, they have a history of fumbling the ball when they get to the goal line.

It also has a testing program that allows students to prove their mastery of a particular phase and a program for teachers to monitor each student's progress or lack thereof. No textbooks are required.
