Today, Tim Cook announced 100m iPads sold "as of 2 weeks ago". That strongly implies iPad sales in Q4 @ 16.5 million, since they had sold 83.5 million as of last quarter. In which case your 19m estimate is too high. I think your EPS is safe, but you just lost your iPhone cushion if IPads are, in fact, 2.5 million light.

Google has refused to upgrade the iOS App for 4 years. The last two years they have provided a much more robust App for Android but NOT for iOS. Apple had little choice but to create additional options for 200m iOS users. In the process, Google will be forced to give iOS users a better, more robust Maps App, or permanently loose the feature to Apple and many 3rd Party Apps which are currently available. Apple did just the right thing, at just the right time, as usual. Apple Maps will end up being a huge PLUS for iOS users.
