I‘m an economics undergraduate student of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
I got into investing at age 17 after reading the intelligent investor and other books about Warren Buffet.
PhD in chemical engineering with a bachelor degree in economics with proffesional experience as scientist and as patent examiner. I have a fairly strong mathematical background in statistics and, due to my broad professional and educational background, I am generally capable of understanding substantial issues in a number of technical fields, including biotech and drugs. I have more than 15 years experience as a non-professional investor. In the last years and after extensive backtesting research, I started investing almost exclusively in net-net companies (trading under net current assets minus total liabilities). Combining my selected stock screening models with due diligence I have consistently outperformed the market under both bull and bear market conditions.
Envoy Global, Inc., was founded in 2001 to pursue investment opportunities in turnaround and restructuring situations both in private and public companies. Casino Capitalism, the research arm of the company, periodically publishes reports on specific companies, as well as general articles on investment trends and psychology. You can read our reports at: www.CasinoCapitalism.com. Yehuda Fruchter, the editor-in-chief of Casino Capitalism, spent three years as part of Value Line’s equity analyst team before founding Envoy Global.
I am a 'deep value' investor/analyst mainly focused on the US small-cap universe. I started out with a long-only bias (stocks trading close to NCAV etc.), but I have now started to focus on the short side as well. I am especially interested in instances of aggressive accounting and earnings manipulation. I am always looking to connect with fellow investors/analysts so do not hesitate to contact me! I am also passively looking for a job on the buy-side.

Arpadutch is a small step in the world filled with experts. The analyst- a recent graduate - who could not find a job anywhere, opted for self help. I believe in 3 core principles while generating ideas:
Every client is an asset and over the longrun, my goal is to beat the market. I will create a global portfolio while simultaneously generating ideas for clients and investing those very proceeds in the ideas to remove any conflict of interest.
I live in Stanford, CA and love investing. I am working on the creation of my hedge fund, Agloe Capital. If you live in the Palo Alto or San Francisco areas, feel free to message me if you'd want to meet up in person.
I've been an investor for over four decades. I enjoy discovering unappreciated gems in the market. I look for value, but am not married to an investment style which may either be in vogue or not. I only invest in businesses which I can understand and feel I have the ability to gain as good an understanding as other investors. I do rigorous accounting analysis, modeling and valuation before making sizeable investments -- consequently I forfeit nimbleness in return for better odds of getting the thesis correct.
I'm currently an analyst at BMO Nesbitt Burns in Vancouver at Hamilton & Associates. I have my CFA Level 2 (and am pursuing Level 3), and I have an intense passion for the markets, and write some thoughts on stocks, or other themes, from time to time.

I have written 2 dutch books on value investing: "Aandelen selecteren als waardebelegger" and "Beleggen in bull- en bearmarkten". See bol.com (search for the titles). As a mathematician (Ph.D.) I am most interested in investment strategies with statistically favorable returns. In particular I invest in net-nets (20-30% average annual returns). I find companies with low Enterprise Value/Earnings before Tax and Interest (EV/EBIT) and strong balance sheets (20% average annual returns) also very interesting. Since such stocks are rare I invest globally. Send me a message with your email address to get example articles of my premium research on Seeking Alpha.
I'm the lead investment research analyst for income and dividend investing at Investors Alley, an independent investment research service. My primary role is editor of several investment advisories bringing deep dive research and actionable income and dividend investment recommendations to investors. These advisories include The Dividend Hunter, 30 Day Dividends, and Tax-Smart Income Hunter.
Prior to joining Investors Alley, I was a stock broker, a Certified Financial Planner, and an F-16 fighter pilot and flight instructor with the United States Air Force. In addition to my primary duty of flying the F-16 to defend our nation's skies I was an instructor in the F-16 Flying Falcon as well as the OV-10 Bronco. During my time in the service I was stationed at various military locations in including Osan AB, Korea, Patrick AFB, Florida, and Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. I graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in mathematics.
It was during those years when I was a Certified Financial Planner and helping families and individuals plan their finances and make wise investment decisions that found my second passion in life: investment research. (Flying was and still is my first.)
My area of specialty is evaluating income generating investments to find the combination of sustainable and growing dividends, special dividend opportunities, and share price appreciation driven by management's commitment to dividend growth. I have a particular emphasis on master limited partnerships, business development corporations, and real estate investment trusts.
I've previously written for USA Today, The Motley Fool, eHow, SFGate, Chron.com, Wikinvest.com, Moneynews.com, iStockAnalyst, among others, and have contributed vast firsthand research to a major provider of data on master limited partnerships, another area of extreme interest to me. Along with my duties with Investors Alley I'm a regular contributor to Seeking Alpha.
In addition to the articles posted here on Seeking Alpha you can find my investment analysis on the Investors Alley website and the weekly newsletter, The Market Cap.
