Boone's contribution to how to develop a new transportation model is useful but we need a national round table discussion on how to move cargo and carcasses. Boone's plan makes sense to Boone. He puts up wind spinners and has the government build the grid and subsidize the filling stations and we gas up with gas and keep the happy motoring dream alive. Where will the money come from? The government is functionally insolvent. How many of the public can or will pay for the 4K retrofit of their cars? How many of the service stations will pay the 500 K to 1000K per station? . The oil companies are selling their stations and getting out of a money losing part of their business. Will a national transportation model coupled with a national energy plan ever happen with the collection of imbeciles we have in this administration? This republican administration will forever be known as the party that destroyed America. They were at the helm.But of course the democrats deserve a huge share of the blame as well. The American people must somehow force and forge an energy policy on its government. Now how can we do that? I'm stuck.
