  • 4 Things You Need To Know About Netflix (And Probably Don't) [View article]
Nflx needs to borrow money bec. they spent their hard earned money on stock buy-back, to raise the stock price, reduce float and enrich their stock option; themselves. Don't you see the pattern, insiders are getting a bigger kick-back from selling shares at inflated stock price!

    Ox ,

Lulu went up yesterday only bec. the general market went up proportionally. No news there.

Abercrombie went down 20% despite market, that's news. Aeropostale also went up significantly.

Come-on, you claim to be a stock expert, you got to be able to understand that!

What kind of mumbo-jumbo logic are you talking about??

    Oxen,

    You're an igmo.

Abercrombie lost 20% today while aeropostale gained.

It means that even the wealthy young people are flocking to cheaper brands, Aeropostale merchandise is at least 50% cheaper than A&F.

    Comprende?

  • Don't Mistake China For A Market Economy [View article]
    Nestor7,

Thank you for pointing out the 10's of millions of Chinese people murdered in the past 100 years. Great comment!

Let's see, the Chinese were happy and prosperous in the 19th century, exporting Silk , tea and porcelain to the rest of the world. They were not aggressive, just contend with their being. Then the British forcibly sold Opium to China and forced millions of families into destitute, tens of millions died of hunger, sickness and sadness. When China resisted, Brits bombed, shelled, fired at the Chinese and won Opium war I! Demanded even more rights to sell opium, even appropriated many ports to themselves, including Hong Kong. Later in 1840's , France, Russia etc got into the act for their share of profit, thus Opium war II, even more millions were killed. China learned its first lessons in trading with foreigners.

Then in 20th century, Japan entered into the fray and demanded their share of blood money, tens of millions were massacred, raped, driven into destitute, famine, pestilence, plagues ensue.

Thank you for reminding us about the tens of millions killed in the past 100 years, many of them were directly caused by foreign powers!

    Karl Denninger,

You are a bigot and it shows in your writings.

China's prosperity is founded on hard-work of millions of its citizens.
Your hatred and slanders will achieve nothing.

It is obvious that China's prosperity is EATING you up.

Read history, and you will realize that every major power provide loans tied to demands. Like IMF giving loans tied to demands of a country opening up their country to US trade. US providing foreign aid tied to political and economic reforms that is favorable to US. The Brits will colonize and enslave entire nations for its economic gains. Be Honest.

  • Don't Mistake China For A Market Economy [View article]
    Nestor7,

Your comments are full of ignorance.

"They ship junk over here" - How about I-phone, I-pad, I-pod, and most electronics? They are all made in China.

"What has china come up with to help the world achieve a higher standard of living?" - China's cheap and massive scale of manufacturing has kept the prices of manufactured goods low, and it is the main reason why inflation was/ is so low in the past 20 years! Why do you think inflation other than food and energy have been so low ?? Duh!

You are biased and your whole thesis was " you are rooting for America therefore any competitor is bad"

There is nothing that China could do to change minds of people like you.

Keep betting against China, and enjoy your losses.

  • Don't Mistake China For A Market Economy [View article]
By the way, the Brits who are so conscious of human rights now, sold thousands of tons of opium to the Chinese in 1800's, to the tune of 30,000,000 teals of silver per annum ( about the size of the China's entire government revernue each year).

The Brits want legal and exclusive status for selling opium in China.

    This is true!

    Don't forget history!

Did the British not exploit their colonies during the 18th and 19th centuries??

Do you remember the Opium wars I and II in 1850's? When England forced millions of Chinese to become opium addicts and when China refused to comply, bombed thier cities, raped, killed thier people, pillaged and robbed their treasures, even burned down the emperor's summer palace?? Do you remember the British East Indie Company??

When the table is turned, now you complained about capitalism not working for you! Haaa!

What happened to blockbuster, Movie gallery (MOVI), Hollywood before, they were also hyped and sported very expensive price.
