    The author would never report his results. He will say something such as "each portfolio is different". Yet he once reported performance, but removed them from his website several years ago, when they badly lagged an index fund.

    Not sure why you would "pity" them. Maybe they had wonderful lives outside of making money in the stock market. Some might pity you for spending so much of your limited time on your investments.

    I love these graphs. They make stock prices look cheap because the stock price declines before the earnings estimate reductions are reflected, then BOOM! You will be feeling the pain if you think this works in a bear market, which has not happened in 5 years.

    Maybe it would be helpful if you could provide your performance figures during 2007-2008. Your graphs did not save you from huge losses per your SEC filings. The stock prices decline before the earnings estimates and actual reported earnings are reduced, making stocks look undervalued until it is too late.
