I agree completely. It's a very basic fundamental that is overlooked.

As far as the article: The market bottomed March 5. Pick just about any chart to verify. If you don't cover now you will be covering the penny stocks by July.

  • Citigroup Report Further Fuels Debate About the Future of Gold [View article]
I think gold is manipulated and wont really pop until it can't be manipulated anymore. I do hold AUY as its beat up and I figure its will recover short term.

I wouldn't put any stock in what Citigroup says. They are up against a wall and staring at the firing squad. They will say anything, anything at all.

tough crowd. did you get just 1 thing from it? If you did you have more than you had before.

people looking to strangers to know whats best for them shouldn't be in the market in the first place.

what I find bothersome is how quick faceless internet users are to take shots at people they don't even know. times are tough but there is no excuse for bad manners.

  • National-Oilwell Varco's Grant Prideco Purchase: Investor/Customer Dissonance? [View article]
NOV has an $8B backlog. Customers have to know that going in and apparently are willing to stand in line. GRP will give NOV a valuable piece to their services catalog. I think shareholders will be nicely rewarded as the aquisition helps turn that backlog into profits.
