Solid application of my considerable intellectual capacity and education at the very top tier schools on both coasts allows me to cut to the essence of the situation and is responsible for my not inconsiderable wealth.
I have held several positions in corporations like Treasurer at Ares-Serono in Geneva (Switzerland) and Madrid (Spain), and at Cemex in Madrid. I have also held the position of CFO of Telefónica International Miami branch with broad responsibilities of the operations in San Salvador and Guatemala, and Director of Control and Budgeting at Telesp in São Paulo (Brazil). Since 2004 I work for myself.
I received a BA in Finance from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and course studies of Marketing and Finance under an Erasmus Scholarship in Worms and Mannheim in Germany.
Currently after finishing a Master of Accounting and Financial Management I am preparing for the CPA exam in Florida. I own and work for a Tax and Financial Services Company in South Florida. I’m very interested in all types of cultures and truly believe that markets can help to make a better world in all aspects.

Alan is a seasoned Wall Street professional with more than 35 years of investment banking experience. Over the last 25 years, he has held senior managerial positions in the High Yield Market with leading investment banks. From 1984 – 1986, Alan was a Managing Director in charge of High Yield Trading at LF Rothchild. From 1986 – 1988 he acted in a similar capacity at Bear Stearns. While at Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette from 1988 – 1993, Alan worked as a Managing Director of High Yield Trading and was instrumental in developing the Investment Bank’s highly successful sales and trading effort. Alan was a Managing Director and Head of UBS’s High Yield Department from 1994 – 1996. In 1999 Alan became a Director at BNP Paribas Capital Markets’ High Yield Department in charge of Global High Yield trading risk. Alan founded Sage Securities Corp. and until July 2005 was the President of this boutique was specializing in both special situation trading and Investment Banking. In 2001 Alan founded Alchemy Fund LLP, a private global multi-strategy investment fund, utilizing a relative value approach to investing in debt and equity securities.
