Great article. I also agree that Google's bread and butter for search on the PC is at risk. In order for Google to get outside the box they need a mobile platform accepted by the Telecoms for now, until, they work their way into the 700 spectrum.

Mobile navigation is where it is at. Google needs a better navigation engine. Consumers do not want spam on thier mobile. If Google offer one click to the physical world around us so that we did not have to type. Then I am for it. I would much rather have them develop the reader to "say" the keyword, logo, or trademarks and receive instant information. Of course this is Google major revenue comes from is keywords.
