The Key To Google's Success: Innovation or Paranoia? [View article]
Great article. I also agree that Google's bread and butter for search on the PC is at risk. In order for Google to get outside the box they need a mobile platform accepted by the Telecoms for now, until, they work their way into the 700 spectrum.
Mobile navigation is where it is at. Google needs a better navigation engine. Consumers do not want spam on thier mobile. IMO, if it was permission based consumer request to be notified, then I am for it. My mobile web minutes are my time, and should not be used for spam or clcik fraud. Let me know when the hunting outfit I want is 25% off. Send me a message.
If Google offer one click to the physical world around us so that we did not have to type. Then I am for it. I would much rather have them develop the reader to "say" the keyword, logo, or trademarks and receive instant information. Of course this is Google major revenue comes from is keywords.
What if another company held the IP to get instant information in one click with your mobile device and did not need Google. What If I could click on their AdSense QR codes and other types of codes to.
What's Keeping Yahoo From an Effective Turnaround? [View article]
What is keeping Yahoo from a turn around???? Modifying their mobile platform to perform one click to content. If they want to beat the MSFT or Google's of search / navigation, they need to implement another navigation engine that does just that.
Yahoo should get together with qode.
qode performs one click to content for the brands with a web enabled device.
Just think of all the revenue from the brands if they were able to make their product one click away.
What if the mobile user / web user were able to say a keyword in your browser and you held the technology license to perform just that???????

Why have they not purchased a mobile platform that offers one click to content from a mobile device and built around it.
Qode, the mobile platform, allows the mobile consumer / web user to click on 1D, 2D, QR, datamatrix, logos, keywords, trademarks, slogans, RFID, billboards, etc. to interact with the object click on. It is the internet of things. What about television? American Idol logo, Fox News, etc.
When clicked on I could find the nearest location of the object bus stop, resturant. Get a schedule of the next bus coming. Get a mobile coupons before a purchase. Get a stock quote. Get movie tickets. Get a notice sent to me when the product I want to purchase goes on sale. Price comparison.
Endless ideas.
How do you turn objects while looking thru Google, MSFT windows Live, or Yahoo? Type the long URL in the window and wait?
I am waiting for the platform to accept voice clicks. Say the word and, BINGO.
Out of the box thinking is what is needed. I am for hire.
