Economic indicators are are pretty good advisor and monetary policy. Since economy seems improving and money will stay cheap I see no reason why the market should get worse in the foreseeable future. Also, company earnings were pretty solid. Thank you for the article.

$SODA is a good company and this is all nonsense. There are environmental reasons to like the system. It is cheaper and fun to get some bubbly bubbly goodness. Buying op right here.

Colonialism has its price. The US will have to do something or PR might be the Black Swan leading to the next Muni Bond blow up of humongous proportions. What is a Lehman Brothers compared to PR debt?

From Wiki: "In the second fiscal quarter, Lehman reported losses of $2.8 billion and was forced to sell off $6 billion in assets.[44] In the first half of 2008 alone, Lehman stock lost 73% of its value as the credit market continued to tighten.[44]"

    Trujillo Alto.

@Zvi: the GOs are lottery too I think. I mean, no bankruptcy but restructuring. PR already hired firms who are versed in restructuring aka haircut. That type of haircut does actually hurt, look at Greece etc. How is PR ever going to pay back 77 billion $? That is (right now) larger 20k/habitant but (a) unemployment is rising; (b) productive people are leaving; (c) 50% of population doesn't work really; (d) >50% of the workforce is in the government.

Buenas Noches PR, el ultimo que esta saliendo la isla apaga la luz, por favor.

Here the report of the Governmental Development Bank: http://bit.ly/RLcECN

(if there is good news in it please point it out to me cause I didn't find any)
