    What is wrong with oil service stocks today? BAS and CJES under pressure.....yesterday too.

    • TruffelPig: I am just glad that after the rise on Monday I reduced my BAS position 66%. I will use a pull back to buy lower again :).

    • Cherry Picker: Nat gas hitting new lows and many producers unable to make profit at current price. Drilling being suspended and new projects put on hold.

    • bigazul: Ya, but... most of the new production is oil or oil equivalents.

    • TruffelPig: It is probably a combination of the two. Many oil companies have to wait for quite some time to get a well fracked.

    • TruffelPig: But yes, I can smell EPA on the sector. I sold quite some oil and took profit for that reason.

    • Cherry Picker: Oil equivalents means nothing. You can't power your car with gas if it hasn't been converted. 6,000 cubic feet of nat gas is still nat gas.
